After completing a 5 year apprenticeship in one of the countries leading workshops, I worked for one of the top London piano companies in the workshop and on the road.
I then became technical manager for HJ Fletcher & Newman Ltd where I dealt daily with technical issues, tool design, managed the workshops and ran technical classes at trade fairs and tuner conventions.
In 2003 I started my own workshop in Kent where we recondition pianos from all over the country and I also travel countrywide regulating pianos for some of today's top artists.
From a simple tuning to a replacement soundboard, we can offer the full service your instrument requires.
Regulation, we can return your instrument to its original factory setting or set the piano to suit your style of playing.
French polishing
We are one of the leading workshops specialising in French polishing pianos in the UK.
We can restore tired sun-bleached casework, including veneer repairs and replacement case parts.
We also offer a polyester repair service repairing scratches, chip and full re-polishing.
